Go into Encarda it has a test you can take.
A upper average person can remember 7 numbers
So it gives you 7 numbers real fast [few seconds] then has you type them back in. A bunch of times.
Bunch of tests like that and then gives you a score.
Some where if this is 2 4 8 what would the next number be.
Then English and Science. Anyway it tells your appitude also.
Are you better in math, science or english.
Then the jobs you would probably like and what courses you should take to achieve that goal. It was fun.

I.Q. tests are useful as far as coming up with a number on general intelligence but there are also people who are a genius at a particular endeavor such as artists, mechanics, woodworkers...etc. These people can show great genius in one particular area but may not have the ability to score high on an I.Q. test.

IQ test are made by people with say a certain level of intelligence, proposing to "measure" the intelligence of those who are more intelligent than the test makers. Seems to me that any IQ test could therefore never accurately measure this, the measuring stick isn't long enough.

Usually someone labeled a genius will TELL YOU and make sure you know. Sad really.
