I'm not from there, but I travel there around every 4 or 5 weeks for business.

You could shop the outlets in Canada.
The Walden Mall is south of the Falls on Rt 90 and Walden Ave.
There is a bit to do around U. Buffalo Campus; around Millersport Hwy.
At the American side of the Falls is the Seneca Casino and on the Canadian side is a Casino as well. Last time I was there were street vendors selling and there are always good bars to jump in for a pint. I met a lot of cool mates there!
Its a good time there so just be free and open and something will rub you happy.

The whole area around the falls is "touristy"lady...
I guess it all depends on what your looking to do.And what time of year your planning to visit...

take your boy friend with you and do sum thin adventurous like acting like jumping into it and getting in to the police station
