Darkness is the absence of light We don't control the darkness as we do the light. we can direct the light aim it darkness is omni directional. With a flashlight I can focus light in any direction. but I can't do the same thing with darkness. Turn out the light and the darkness reclaims the room at the same speed light has left. So darkness has the same exact speed. 186,285 mi/s

The speed of light is 3,00,000km per second(apporx)
Now we calculate the speed of darkness.
e.g. Sun's rays which are light, need 8:20 minutes to come on Earth. Now suppose, even if sun will get covered that no rays should pass through it. The living things of Earth will know it after 8:20 minutes truely.
The most speedy thing is not light, not dark. It is invisiable. Sorry, they are two most speedy things. Can you guess???????

On Earth and in our universe, the speed of dark is the same as the speed of light.

The speed of dark is infinitive.
Though theoretically it can be stated as the speed of light as nothing is faster than light.

Darkness if the absence of light, just as coldness is the absence of heat, so darkness is just a measure of light in a given area so therefore it is the same as the speed of light.
