Yes, if you had a motherboard with a PCIe slot and an AGP slot then you could have two video cards installed. However, a motherboard with said configuration does not exist. And, you can't put an AGP card in a PCIe slot or vice versa. But, if you have a motherboard with a PCI slot and an AGP slot, it is possible to install both an AGP and PCI video card, though it wouldn't make much sense to do so. In fact, it wouldn't make much sense to have two graphics cards installed unless you were going to make use of Crossfire or SLi for PCIe cards.

the newer boards that have pci-e slots will not have a provision for agp slots. that is because there would be a conflict in compatibility if both were there together. My suggestion would be to go in for PCI-E cards because they are gonna be popular and are here to stay and agp cards and slots are on their way out.

dont think that will work. but PCI-E is x16 and AGP is x8. Why would u want to slow down the PCI-E ? even so, the BIOs would not be able to work 2 GPU of different slots less the SLi system.

I'm not sure if you can set the graphics up in your BIOS to run 2 separate video slots or not.
