Well mate it’s just an act to show the world the “fair-play” that fifa is trying to encourage. They maybe keep some of jerseys but not all of them, it would take a huge room to fit for all the jerseys players have exchanged… if you had taken a jersey of Zidane and a jersey of some unknown player you would keep Zidane’s one not the other one, right?

Whatever they feel like, I guess. Sean De Graff, who runs a soccer camp, gives out a few he kept each day to be worn for the day, sort of as a reward for players who did well previously the day before. I think that is a pretty cool use of shirts.

Hang them up on their walls, some players are fanboys for other players as well and its seen as a honour to get the shirt of your hero.

I think they give them to their friends.
The problem is in the smell, isn't it?
Comment:

keep them probably! its a nice reminder of the successes (and failures) of your career....but as a whole, it just shows how far theyve gotten...i would guess the captains of the teams have the biggest collections...
