I cannot remember much of the '80's much like hippies cannot remember the '60's. I partied way too much.

Well, I hope the people in the place to which you'll be relocating won't offend you! What a statement! Sorry, but Bon Jovi IS still cool.
My fav memories are: the dating, the music of that time, oh, and Miami Vice! I loved Don Johnson.
Worst memories: Capital gains tax was outrageous for low to middle income and AIDS. All we talked about was AIDS. Unfortunately, three gay men I knew died of it during that decade.

The 80s.... Jimmy Carter was on his way to building houses, Ronaldus Maximus was President, I was a sea-going sailor, Tones on Tail, Love & Rockets, Bad Brains, Black Flag, Suicidal Tendancies were on the cutting edge of music (I laugh at Bon Jovi).
Most important... I fell in love with Alison Kirby... my first love... I still see her every once in a while as the anti-stalking laws are somewhat lax. Just kidding.... we still talk every few months.

Best Memories? My training with the US Army Reserve. It was tough, but it is the most fun that I had in my entire life.
My worst memories? Three bad marriages, and a job where I was harassed to no end, and relieved when I was fired from it. Never had that kind of negative experience before or since.

I admit I'm still a bit stuck in the 80's music wise. My memories of the 80's include big hair, long hair, glam rock, metal, spandex,LOTS of concerts and shows & lots of beer.I could go on,but it would take up too much space! lol!
Oh, the Good Ol' Days!
Best Wishes

Best was learning to drive. Nothing like the freedom of cruising down the road by myself for the first time, putting an 8 track in the player(probably Iron Maiden) and cranking it up.
Worst was getting caught skipping school(alot), I can laugh at it now, but my Dad would get so mad at me.

Stirrup pants with neon slouch socks. Stretchy pants with a skirt sewn on the top. Jean skirts with neon paint splatters. Ponytails and hair parted on the side of your head (waaay on the side). Oh, and LA Gear sneakers.
I hated the '80's.

Being told by the doctors that I almost died from Rocky Mountain Tick Fever and when the space shuttle blew up. I still have images of that in my mind.

80's had the best television series. Stuff like Magnum P.I., Miami Vice, A-Team, the list can keep going.
