Make her log in. Then tell her to go to MY Q&A by clicking on her picture as soon as she logs in. There is an EDIT MY INFO link next to her picture and her profile. Click on it and there is an option to use her avatar instead of her 360.

Then you HAVE to click PREVIEW then submit afterwards.

It is totally okay if the picture is still there in the option menu. As long as you pick the avatar as the default picture, then noone can see her picture unless they go to her 360. If you want to completely remove it, then click on the VIEW MY 360 PAGE link and then get rid of the pictures.

I don't see why you would ban her from yahoo if you can't get the picture removed, whats the deal? You guys see the words daughter/picture/internet and immediatly its panic!? Sure sometimes the fear is justified but not in this context, a small pic on something like yahoo answers..
Oh well parents and their silly internet pedo-paranoia.. I think the 'danger' of the internet is highly overrated. In the end you're still behind a computer, and as long as you keep an eye on what your kid is doing behind it nothing can happen.. Its as silly as keeping your daughter in the basement for the rest of her life because you're afraid a meteorite would hit her when walking down the street.
No need turning bugs into elephants!

Note to the woman's comment above me; THROWING THE THING IN THE GARBAGE WON'T REMOVE THE PICTURE

anyway you're the parent, good luck

Did you remove it via 360? Perhaps you need to wait a while until the changes catch up with the edit, try holding the shift key down while you refresh the browser, that will get the latest version from Yahoo servers and not off your local proxy server. Good luck!

How old is your grandaughter.

The #1 pedifiles in the world are teenage boys. They are the ones making most teenage girls pregant and never see one day of jail, reform school nor do they have to pay child support. Instead the rest of us pay our Taxes for welfare.

I am an advocate of JAIL for sex with any minor, even if done by minors. Put the boys in jail. We put them in jail when they are 14 and go into a school with guns and shoot people! Jail ALL teenage boys who do sex. Jail ALL teenage girls who let them have sex!

The law is the law. Stat rape applies to anyone.

And consentual fornication goes against my belief system as a Religous person. The ONLY religioins advocating fornication are Satanism and Paganism. ALL other Religions forbid it!

No sex out of marriage for anyone! It's the LAW of all good religions!

I am not going to answer your question specifically, as several people already have. I just wanted to comment that it is really great to see a parent be a parent for a change. There are too many unsavory people out there, your daughter does not need to be showing her actual picture. Cu-dos to you! Have a great day!

Is nobody going to at least state that this seems an awful invasion of her privacy and controlling, it is just a picture, maybe you could just talk with her first and ask tell her why you want it removed and ask her to do it, not try and do it for her, it just makes a child feel like they have no control over their own life and more rebellious.

I don't think it's that her "picture keeps coming back"... I think she's probably re-changing it from the avatar each time. I don't think there's a way for you to permanantly change her picture. Sorry! You could, however, try to delete her picture from the computer or wherever she's loading it from... maybe that would help? I'm not sure. Good luck!

~~Remove the picture from the computer, Remove the picture from her Yahoo 360, and tell her if the picture shows again that she will be banned from the computer.~~
