right shoulder or left shoulder? which one is the trend?

Left side.Most accessories are worn on the left hand so when holding the straps of your handbag your jewellery is more visible.
And its also more difficult for a thief to snatch a bag from your left side.I read that smwea.

Either side, and there is no trend for this. It depends on what feels more comfortable and secure on your body.
I wear mine on the right shoulder because it feels more secure there. I am right-handed and the right side of my body is stronger and more coordinated than the left side. If I am in a busy place (store or crowded street) I always keep my my handbag close to my body with my hand on it. If someone were to attempt to snatch the bag I'd have a better chance of hanging on to it because of the reflexes and strength in the right side of my body.

Left is more comfortable - probably because I am right handed.
