two years back, i had this small bump on the inner side of my thighs almost near my crouch area. then after a few months, it started to grow bigger. then later the bump turned into excess skin. the bump kept growing and growing and now it's long like a quarter of an inch. i can't pull it off and it hurts when it gets caught between my underwear and thighs. i was wondering if anybody knows what this is called where excess skin/bump keeps growing? the skin is loose and pinkish in color. could this be a tumor?

thank you for all your answers... what can i do to get rid of it if one knows what it is?

It sounds like a skin tag to me but best check it with your doctor, just in case. Don't leave it! If it's a tumor the sooner it is removed, the better.

It could be a number of things, and is possibly quite harmless, but I would check this with a dermatologist (skin doctor) just to be sure. He should also be able to remove it quite easily.

go to the doctor... it could just be a skin flap, (tag) . Because it keeps getting bigger I would be concerned.
