Try sweatbands. I sometimes find myself drippping after cycling. Of course wearing one outside of a sports environment can also attract attention but at least you don't have salt sweat stinging your eyes.
Being a bit on the PC side I make my own elasticating a tube of towelling as the ones I've found in sport shops are all designer brands which are notorious for sourcing their products from sweatshops - no pun intended.

The others respondents are correct that anti-perspirant used all over the body would be bad for you. In fact it is not good to use at all - just use plain deodorant under your arms or wash frequently or use one of the crystal stones.

I have to agree with Doty on this one. Sweat is very good for the body so don't do anything which might stop it from occuring. I think that you should look at your husbands diet as this is usually a big cause to such problems. But forget about putting things on your face- go natural, its great.

i would suggest that you buy Stridex pads, or Sea Breeze astringent cleansor. at first use it on the skin SEVERAL times a day... the oils will gradually decline. (example, start on his days off... clean his skin EVERY TIME you see it's shiny... even if it's 10 times in one day).

ANOTHER suggestion is to go to the doctor. you can get a perscription of an acne medication. even if his skin doesn't break out from the sweat, it will reduce the oils in the skin (takes about a week to notice it's working).

i have a son that we actually use both treatments on. i'm not crazy about him taking pills. i only used the medication when his skin was breaking out badly. once we had the acne under control we switched to just using the cleansers... it's working GREAT!

unfortunatle there really isn't something to put on your face, but if there was I would not recommend it. The sweating, as unpleasant as it is, serves a purpose. If you stopped or blocked facial sweating then the pores would be backlogged and then you may have to worry about acne or even worse things. Just leave him the way he is.

Perspiration is one of the ways the body discharges water. It is the body's way of self cooling. Armpits maybe, but it is not advisable to block the sweat completely. Results could be adverse.
