Why do you get to bed so late? Are you circadian or bio rhythms off? How old are you? Do you get 8 or 9 hours of sleep a night, are you depressed, overstressed, not enough physical activity, too much caffeine? Many causes of sleep disturbances in this day and age. You could try going to sleep a little bit earlier each night. Don't eat late at night or exercise less than three hours before your bedtime. Talk to your doctor about it, if it interferes with your life, impairs your health or energy levels. I am used to staying up late and sleeping in late, but your don't get the same quality sleep and if this goes on for a long time, you are at higher risk for multiple health problems.

I have the same problem. I have to have a period where I sleep in for a long time. I have a hard time getting asleep and once asleep I wake up a million times a night. I took ambien but got off of the stuff. I think not having enough sleep is more dangerous then what time you are able to sleep.

As long as you are still getting 8 hours of sleep, that is important most of all for your body...
But a lot of doctors say that you can be throwing your internal clock off balance.... some doctors will even say that Mononucleosis can stem from getting yourself off schedule... it has to do with being up the same time as the sun, interaction with other people, and getting the right nutrients from the sun and your environment...
but still, the most important thing is that you are getting 8 to 9 hours of sleep a night... depending on your body
