very useful. house flys and wasps (common wasps - yellowjackets) are natures recyclers. fly larvae mainly consume rotting flesh as do wasps and their larvae. wasps and their larvae consume a whole range of organic matter and the adults also contribute to pollination of flowering plants.

The fly carries disease and plays a part in the process of natural selection by being a carrier. The wasp preys upon spiders and pollinates plants.

They seem to to s*it all over the place don't they? I was s*itting down having a quiet drink when the most common house fly had the temerity to s*it next to me. You don't want them s*itting just anywhere they like, do you. How very, very dare they!

they make maggots for fishermen and regurgitate the most disgusting foul stuff they can find - they are also good as a snack when cycling full speed down a hill with your mouth open!!

They spread bacteria from their feet every time they land, so this also assists in the microbiological food chain.

none whatsoever.

disease ridden little manky sods....hate flies.

and as for wasps...i'm allergic so i tend to avoid them. in fact, even if i wasn't allergic....i'd still hate them. no purpose, stingy little picnic spoilers.
