Hi Kelsey,

I went through almost exactly the same symptoms you are going through last July, 2005. After two visits to the ER, and several more to my family doc, it was concluded that I have a condition called fibromyalgia. I pray that you don't have this as it's uncureable. It can be managed, though. It's usually brought on by some kind of physical or emotional trauma. Have you been in an accident in the past year or suffered some kind of emotional trauma or abuse? Email me. Please visit my webpage for links to other fibromyalgia sites:

There is also a condition called pericarditis, but I'm not real familiar with it. I don't think your symptoms are right for it.

I would definitely get to another doctor. Have your parents take you before you go to camp. Some of it sounds like anxiety; but you want to be certain. I would not want to see you take sick at camp and have to be rushed to the hospital while you are away from home. Your health is too important to risk not finding out what is really going on. One of my cousins had severe stomach pains years ago, when he was a teenager, and my Aunt and Uncle took him to 5 different doctors before a doctor finally figured out that his appendix had burst, and he could have died from the infection if they hadn't figured it out. Best of luck to you, I hope you feel better, and can go to camp and have a great time!

It could be severe heartburn. Also when I was younger parts of my chest used to pop and it always hurt, they told me it was growing pains but I still don't believe that. I agree w/ everyone else though you need another doctor's opinion.

Have a adult take you to the hospital right away to be checked out. Please go and don't be afraid to go. You do need a second opinion because you still feel so bad. Tell a adult now. Good Luck.

Seek the aid of a medical healthcare professional immediately. It sounds like there may be something wrong.
