It is a popular misconception that they are nicotine stains. They are more likely tar stains as nicotine is clear. Anyway that amount of nicotine in fleshy tissue would be poisonous.
I have seen people take the sandpaper edge of the matchbox as file their fingers. It does go away. I have also seen a little bleach and washing up liquid mixed and applied with a nailbrush. Wait a minute or two and scrub it off.

Remove Nicotine Stains

I smoke the Clove cigars and I get this problem & it's very noticeable on my index finger.
What I do, is the same method I use to remove calluses.
I take a cotton ball (can be whatever you have around to hold the liquid), soak up some Apple Cider Vinegar, then rub it onto the entire stained area. (My nail gets it bad as well, but a file works for that too.) Throw that away, and get a fresh pc.dipped in the ACV. Place it on the area and secure it with a band aid, duct tape, ect. Leave it on for an hour or so, then take it off. Your finger(s) will look like a raisin... Ha don't worry it will go back to normal. The ACV has killed the outside layers of skin, which should give you easy and immediate exfoliation. Scrub all the stained skin OFF. You can repeat as often as needed, and when you get it all, make sure to moisturize, because the ACV will leave the area very very dry. I hope this helps! Please let me know the method that has worked best for you!
Sincerely,
A~

Rub the flesh of a potato on the stain for 15-20 minutes, then rinse off. Can be done up to 6 times a day.

use something rough like a match box or fine sandpaper and gently rub until stains dissapear . Be gentle so you just remove the dead skin cells . this will greatly improve the look with instant results.
A good idea is to use hand moisturiser after doing this.

You should read Laura Jefferson’s book "Skin Whitening At Home" ( I saw it's also available in electronic format +video: http://www.skinwhiteningathome.com ). After 8 weeks I managed to get my skin a few tones whiter and I also got rid of freckles.

The method she teaches in her book is natural, inexpensive, and is readily available in most homes. You could even find some ingredients in your own backyard. The most wonderful thing about the method she shares in her book is that it will help you whiten or lighten your skin pigmentations, freckles, age spots, acne marks, dark underarms, melasma, or your overall skin color easily and naturally without breaking your bank or producing dangerous side effects. Good Luck!

Why not try some rough skin remover, that's usually used for feet?
Or a home made scrub made fron fine grained salt mixed with vegetable/olive oil.
Followed by a good hand cream.
The start using a cigarette holder, like the old movie stars! (ebay).

both are roughly the same except when it comes to protein. ALMOST ALL veggies include a respectable amount of protein; fresh fruit does not.

The word fresh fruit has different meanings depending on context.
