Take all the tests offered to you, diabetics have so many things that can go wrong with the mother or the baby the more help you can get the better.
I had all the tests I was offered when I was pregnant along with lots of scans.
In the case of pregnancy it is always best to do everything you can specially as the slightest change in blood sugar levels can affect the baby

the Dr will keep eye on you don't worry he wont do anything to harm you and your baby
