All I can say is to keep your nose clean. Jail is not a cake walk. Try to stay in your cell throughout your stay. BUT I would suggest that you do not allow yourself to be pushed around. People know when you are scared. You have NO privacy unless you have your own cell and I pray that you do. But if you have a cell mate I would suggest you not be intimidated by her.
Good luck and remember keep your nose clean.

I have never been to jail, and certainly don't ever plan on going to jail. I know people who have been, and it is definitely a scary place. Do everything your lawyer tells you and hopefully you will do the shortest amount of time possible. Use the time to think about why you were driving in that condition (very, very bad) and also how lucky you are to be only going to jail for the DUI...you could be going in for decades of your life because you killed someone because you choose to drink and drive. I hope that this will scare you into NEVER DRINKING AND DRIVING AGAIN. I don't mean to sound harsh or mean; but this is your wake-up call....you may not get another one!!!! Good luck to you.

You do the crime, ya do the time. Sorry that you must go to jail, but you were given choices and you blew them. Do not break the law again.
Now, in jail, you have perverts who are nasty and do nasty things to innocent people. For bathroom, you have a stool that you use in front of all. You eat snake soup with the rattlers left on. Everyone stinks and so will you. I hope that jail is worse than this so people will stop breaking the law and using tax money for lawbreakers instead of using the money for our children, schools, and homeless. We need so many things and you are wasting our tax money on your stupidity. Lawbreakers even think that they should have rights to have computers and other luxuries in prison and jail. That is a bunch of dew-dew. Why should our tax money be spent on luxuries for those who break the law? Why should lawbreakers be treated equally when they are not equal in earning the right to have luxuries? Do not get me started.

i changed into fearful about this when we began the adoption procedure. i did not comprehend if i'd take care of to bond with a baby who i did not supply start to. however, after I held my son for the first time, all of those fears disappeared. seeing that i do no longer have any organic and organic toddlers, i do no longer comprehend if there is an really enormous difference, yet i'd project to assert that there is not any longer. i respect my son unconditionally - i do not fairly imagine about the very incontrovertible certainty that i did not supply start to him (until eventually someone is talking about being pregnant). he's my existence and that i won't be able to imagine our relations without him. i'd lay down my own existence for him if needed. the single aspect I do difficulty about being different however is my overprotectiveness. I have a tendency to be very doting and overprotective with my son because I difficulty a lot that someone might want to attempt to come back decrease back into his existence to take him far flung from me. even as i comprehend that it might want to be almost no longer attainable and that a lot of those issues occurred in years previous earlier rules were enacted to guard adoptive households, I nonetheless have a tendency to agonize about it particularly. yet except that, i won't be able to imagine of a few thing different between what i'd assume a organic and organic mom feels and that what i experience as an adoptive mom.

I haven't gone to jail but I think it is terrible inside especially if you are the nice girl type. There is no privacy and all boredom, I think.

I've never been there myself but I've never heard a positive overall report from someone who was there. It is what it is. It's not supposed to be an enjoyable place, but you're probably already aware of that.

its a four walled barricade with bars on the frontage. inhabitants are susceptible to all the things that make up spiritual paralyses; anxiety, fear & depression among a few.
my advice:brace yourself and when its all over, promise not to do anything stupid again.
