gurl, if ur new to eyeliner try to steady ur hands with pencil type. Better control, learn to perfect the lines and thiness and thickness of the lines u prefer.

Once you get the hang of it, try using gel eyeliner, u can control it with ur thin eye liner brush.

Recommended:
Bobbi Brown Long Wear Gel Eyeliner

This innovative formula gives the precision of liquid eyeliner with the look of a soft modern eye. The highly pigmented gel formula is waterproof and can be used to create subtle to dramatic looks. Best applied with the Ultra Fine Eyeliner Brush for more precise application.

Stretch the corners of your eyes with your fingers then start drawing from the end to the in depth corner to the eye.

Learning experience is fun......

The eyeliner pencil is the easiest.

Slightly pull your eye tight and trace as close to your lashes as possible for the top. For the bottom, just go a little under your lower lashes but stay as close to the edge of your eye as possible. If you're trying to open your eye a little wider then only apply it from the middle of your eyelid out to the corners. Just play with it when you don't have to go anywhere until you get it right.

I have found that cream eyeliner from Smashbox is the best...its alot easier than liquid and doesn't pull at your eye like a pencil...to apply it is very very simple...it comes with a brush and I dip it in the color I want and I gently press it across my top and bottom lashes...I have also been told many times that it is not good to pull your eye when you are applying makeup/liner...yes its harder to do(especially if you are using a pencil or liquid) without pulling, but its better for your skin and eyes if you don't pull...good luck!! you can get the eyeliner at www.smashbox.com, www.sephora.com, or www.qvc.com

I use it a bit different to others. I use a pencil eyeliner (Rimmel Kohl liner in Blackest Black. I pull my eyelid gently out and line the rims of my eyes tickly with the liner. Then I take my finger and rub it gently until it smooths over my eyelid as well.

all depends on the shape or sizr of your eye's. using black eyeliner make them close up. if you use a colour it makes them bigger. also using it on the inner lower lid make them look small and piggy too. if you use a colour directly under the eyelash and from half way along the top lid all the way to the outside corner of the eye, it makes you eyes look bigger and sparklier

put a fine line about two thirds long on the eyelid and the bottom of eye. Using eye brow pencil does the same.

If you pull you skin from underneath your eye down, you can see a line a skin above your eyelashes. (I hope I explained that properly) and just run a line of your eyeliner there... white makes your eyes look bigger, black makes them look smaller.

i put it on the inner part of the eyelid, where is it pink.what you can do is pull the skin near the eye down lightly, and apply the liner. and don't for get to put it on both lids, the top and bottom. when you put it on the top, roll your eye up and apply the liner. i heard that it make the eyelashes look thiker, and fuller.
