Definately NOT - it can cause scarring of the oesophagus - much the same as if you drank bleach - not recommended at all!

It should really state the answer to that question "on the bottle". Any hazardous liquids must give warnings on the bottle. If no hazard warning is there you may swallow. If you then become ill "directly because you swallowed" You sir, "Will" be legally entitled to sue.
