REFERENCES:
1> as in "spooks" those creepy,unnatural and sometimes funny so-called "ghosts" shown in films!the ones with the rattling chains and eerie laughs
2> in literature: as in only a remnant of the Past..eg:- ghost of his former self
3> in literature again...a> as in surrealistic entities,like in "the listeners" poem by walter de la mare or b>as a funny helpful teenage ghost in "the wishlist" by eion colfer
4> or as in the philosophy...the souls of those who have passed beyond.
no one really knows,since i doubt it if anyone has really seen any.
but personally i'd like to believe they are just like us, only in a different world!

I believe there is a difference between a ghost and a spirit. A ghost is similar to psychotic human beings, they are incapable of reasoning for themselves. Spirits are the surviving personalities of all of us who die in a reasonably normal fashion. Some people are highly sensitive, but if you don't want to be bothered by either, simply tell them to go to God or to leave you alone.

ghosts are earth bound souls of people who have passed over.sometimes the don't know they're dead , sometimes they have unfinished business and just won't go into the light.......if you encounter one they mean you no harm (despite hollywood b.s.) just tell them your dead go to God.........usually works
