The fastest way to prove to other people that you are intelligent (not stupid), is to learn to write English properly. I am glad that your kids are American and you want the American dream of a good job and a nice house. I am sorry that you have been called derogatory names. Have a nice day!

If you would learn the language it would go a very long way to breaking that stereotype. I am not saying you should give up your culture, if fact you should cherish it. When you emigrate you should also embrace the culture of your chosen country.
I personally do not believe you are stupid in fact I admire the determination and courage it took to come t a new country and try to make a success of it. Good Luck I hope your dreams are fulfilled.
