Do you agree that in addition to Miss Universe or Miss Beauty competitions around the world, it is absolutely fair that also they run a competition for the Ugly Girls or Ladies?
Like: Miss Ugly of the Year or Universe.
Why only beautiful people should have these opportunities?

Most people doesnt seems to care for the ugly people and its related objects. I think we should not be judgmental about anyone and an adage says " Never judge a book by its cover" states a person can be outwardly ugly but inwardly beautiful. Lets get to know the person before reacitng negatively.

It's like a marketing strategy. People won't buy ugly things even if they're marketed well. The same as people. Even if you put up a good Miss Ugly of the Year show, yes, people would watch it but maybe not encourage it because you know people nowadays, they'd just make fun of the contestants.

All beauty contests involving contestants appearing semi nude in numerous stages from different countries is shameless and should be stopped. Do you think that Almighty creator's divine law be violated as it has by the western world for centuries in many ways continue ? The western society's moral fabric is totally diminished with no shame, modesty and dignity remaining.
Vast majority of people here are from mostly christian background ( also belonging to different sects). Do you people believe that if the blessed prophet Essa / Jesus (R.A) was amongst you today then he would have approved of beauty contests according to the divine law that mankind is meant to follow for their salvation ???

My friend, we have been borned to appreciate beauty. Hence, Miss Universe and its pretty women are acceptable. Miss Ugly, forget about it. Unless you can change the world thinking, forget about your Miss Ugly.

u see the beauty sells if ppl watch miss ugly they r gonna laugh btw afhter miss universe wins they do these jobs and apearances i dont think any1 would want miss ugly to apear anywhere ...... but u know i saw a pagent for plus size women and the gurl that won was beautiful

well, there's really no BEAUTIFUL girls since everyone is hiding under their make-up. all pageants should require no make up, because make-up makes people look fake. not sure about Miss Ugly or the Year or Universe. i think because that might be degrading.

i agree, there should also be a pageant for the ugly ones. So they too can enjoy the prizes and perks in winning the title.
