Restart your computer in safe mode (F8 when it's starting)
You should be able to delete it then. It's best to use your virus scanner in safe mode because it's able to delete files that would otherwise be "locked" in normal modes.

If you are a home user you can download, install and use AVG Anti-Virus (for free). Here are the instructions on how to install it http://www.vermontpcsolutions.com/how_to_install_avg_anti_virus.html - you can find a link to download AVG here - http://www.vermontpcsolutions.com/tools_anti_virus.html

Then update the virus definitions, disconnect from the Internet and turn off System Restore (see this page for instructions on how to disable System Restore - http://www.vermontpcsolutions.com/disabling_system_restore.html) As someone else suggested, boot into Safe Mode (here is a link which explains how to start in safe mode - http://www.vermontpcsolutions.com/how_to_start_in_safe_mode.html) and run AVG.

I don't know if you are running a software firewall but you can download a free one from this page http://www.vermontpcsolutions.com/tools_firewalls.html (again, the software listed here is for home users and it's all free!).

Also, you might want to check your PC for spyware as well. I recommend downloading SpyBot Search & Destroy as well as a program called AdAware - you can find links to both of these free applications on this page - http://www.vermontpcsolutions.com/tools_spyware.html

Don't pay attention to those who have said "give up" or "there is nothing you can do". I have removed many viruses from computers and so far I have had a 100% success rate using the tools mentioned above. That's why I created this site - http://www.vermontpcsolutions.com/ - it's full of free virus and spyware removal tools, instructions and information.

Then uninstall McAfee and stop paying for anti-virus software!

I hope this helps!

I wouldnt really mess with it i would just get off cause that virus can steal your passwords on your computer no matter if they are saved or not so i would just call it a night and get off!
