My daughter recently started smoking menthol cigarettes instead of non menthol, why?

I did that once. I had strep throat. Ask her if her throat has been hurting. Makes regular cigs taste like, well, crap. Maybe she just ran out and she could only bum a menthol, and then she got hooked.

Maybe to cover up the smell of pot & give her breath a fresh, minty taste.
Maybe because her non-smoking new boyfriend told her that her breath stinks and she either has to quit smoking or quit kissing him and dive right into the nitty gritty, and because your daughter is so diplomatic she met him half way- didn't quit smoking but changed mouth flavor and doesn't kiss as long before the nitty gritty.
Maybe menthols are cheaper.
Maybe she likes the green packaging.
Maybe she found a carton of menthols by the crack factory (which are laced with speed &/or cocaine &/or LSD or all of them in a multi-laced extraveganza) and is smoking them all before buying her regular brand.
Maybe all her friends smoke menthols so she either just copied them or took advantage of that for when she runs out of smokes she can scam some off her friends.
Maybe she didn't like chewing all that gum so that no one in the workplace knew she smoked, realised menthols would give her a similar scent and changed brands.
Or MAYBE you could try asking her.
But I think I was right the first guess!!!

Good question... has she started eatin' cheese- puffs and drinkin' grape soda? Dose she spend her time rollin' down the street.....smokin' smokin' sippin' on gin & juice? With her mind on her money and her money on her mind? Has she told you to make cornbread with dinner more often? Dose she answer every question you ask her by saying that " pimpin' aint easy " ???
