I just got the airplay 2. Cant really get good reception on the car radio I live near LOndon and theres not much free Fm space its crackly and frankly a bit crap.

any tips?

1) Try a different model. I have a iRiver transmitter [1] which works great, and was highly recommended on Amazon.com
2) If your car has a cassette player, get a model that feeds through the cassette deck rather than by radio [2]. That way, the signal doesn't have to compete with other radio stations.

I use an iTrip and it works great. I live in a very wide open space and there is lots of free FM space and I have a really good car antenna as well.

you can actually extend the range of the antenna by breaking open the case and wrapping some copper wire in a coil around it and glueing the case back together! email me and ill show you what i did!
