My most common reoccurring dream is where I'm in my house (or some house that's supposed to be my house), someone is trying to break in, I'm trying to close the door but it won't click shut. Some times, the door will fall off its hinges and I'll be standing there trying to put it back on while the guy is walking up to the doorway.

Also I have a lot of dreams about zombies. But never a zombie trying to come into the house while I can't shut or lock the door.

I do have dreams that are either continuations from previous dreams or are set in the exact same place and circumstances as previous dreams. Most of the time when this happens, I remember in the dream that I've been there before and I even realize that I was there before in a dream. I wonder if other people have the same thing.

I have recurring falling dreams quite often, and lots of crazy psycho weird ones, but I can only remember them for about 5 minutes after I wake up. I guess I need to write them down if I really want to analyze them.

Tonight I will dream about not getting 10 points because I can't remember my whacked out dreams!

Or maybe I won't be able to sleep at all, just longing for those points.

Woe is me :(

Yes I do. I have recurring dreams about flying..

*Dream*:
But one of the stranger 1 is where my mum was murdered by some Mafia-like gangsters and they were chasing our family also. My dad was not there for some reason, and later he also got killed.

So anyway, we were running away from the gang...

*Real Life*:
For some reason, I happened to mention my dream later to my family. Oddly enough, my brother had the exact same dream as me the same night I had mine. (And, no, we weren't watching gangster movies, or talking about any weird stuff before that night).

uhuh...
actually i have 2 sets of recurring dreams:

1) im in this glass cubicle in a white room.. sitting...suffocated, then there's fire...then that would always be the time i can't really breathe in reality...

2) im in a church or some solemn place with a guy.. were gonna get married - that's how it looks like. i try real hard to stare at the person beside me..but i can't see his face. then later on, the guy becomes a huge corn cob...

yeah i know it's really weird..

then...what i do is to try to open up my eye, but if i can't, then i'd try to kick with one leg - then i'd wake up.

i told this story to my friend's mom - what she said about the 1st is - it's a thing called 'signus' or the probable cause of my death (it's either suffocation/closed areas or fire)

for the 2nd one, she said i haven't yet met the man for me.

Yes do have recurring dreams.
The very nature of their recurrance make them surfacing in th waking hours again and again.
Are you DREAM ANALYST !
If so, which method and technique do you use to analyse them.

I've found that the gestalt method of Dr. Fritz Pearls to be the most effective one.

Dunno about weird so, how 'bout gruesome?

I dreamed that I had found my mother decapitated. I must have screamed in my sleep because my parents came running into my room. My dad had his gun ready to shoot someone. Took me hours to calm down and get back sleep.

Okay, recurring dream I used to have. I would be visited by a man dressed in black with a wide brimmed hat. He would try to grab me with a bony hand and whisper nasty things to me. Sometimes he caught me but I was able to break free. It was a lucid dream and when I would try to wake myself up, I couldn't. I would be screaming for someone to wake me up and no one came. Sometimes I felt like I was in a bubble that I could not pop.

Just plain freaky and weird. I have not had that dream for some 15 years now but, it still gives me the shivers to think about it.

My recurring dream is me on the beach with this enormous wave of water about to come crashing over me. I always wake up just before I feel the water hit me.

I've had two recurring dreams since childhood.....

I dream that I am driving and my car drives off a bridge. As my car slowly fills with water, I fight frantically to escape, but I can't escape.

I dream that my dad is choking me to death

I had reoccuring dreams about Vietnam. Basically, in the dream, I shot and killed a Viet Cong and then saw his face....it was my face.

I have a dream where I get something stuck in my teeth and somehow it pulls a tooth out. Then another tooth falls out, and another, until all of my teeth fall out. Then I have to keep my teeth in my mouth so I can keep them moist until I get to the dentist and have them put back in. I always wake up feeling out of sorts. No, it just grosses me out!
