Does a latex condom cause vaginal irratation and burning.
Felt poorly for several days went to doctor and was put on xopenex on breathing machine 4x daily. could the sonographer have not headed my warning about latex allergy

Yes. It is very possible you are having an allergic reaction. Sounds like the sonographer did not pay attention. Some of the responsibility falls upon you as well to verbally say to her that you have a latex allergy. I am sorry you are feeling so rotten. I have a latex allergy as well. I have to make sure my docs wear vinyl gloves and use vinyl condoms for sonograms. Next time you go to the doctor, ask if they have vinyl gloves and condoms. They had better tell you yes. Make sure you get one one of wrist bands stating your allergy. It could potentially save your life someday. Hope you feel better soon.
