How fast? You could make that in a week here if you work hard. I am not kidding.

Have a garage sale. If you are going to move you probably need to do this anyway. Stop buying groceries. Don't laugh, but you will need to be creative. I read a survey a few years back that said that most Americans have enough groceries stashed in their cupboards to last them a month. At the time it was estimated that was equal to $400-500. It must be worth at least $600 now probably more. Just don't replace eating at home with eating out. Like most Americans you probably have cells phones too. Turn off your home phone and use just your cells. Be vigilant though about your cell phone use, because you don't want to go over your cell phone minutes and get socked with extra fees. If its only for a month or two do it. If you have premium cable and no contract cut your cable down as far as you can. Better yet have it turned off. You won't need to watch TV in the evenings anymore because you will be working at your part time job in the evenings. Lastly, why Florida? Where do you live now that you can't finish school and must move to Florida? Will you have jobs once you get there? Have you taken into account that you may need more than $1000 to get you through until you get good employment in Florida? Good Luck!

Borrow and work hard to pay it back.

Take a loan from the bank.

Borrow from friends or family member with all the terms (in the contract agreement) written (what is it for, when do you need it, when will you pay it back, what the requirements are, how can you pay it back, interest free).

Get a family or friend to co-sign with your loan.

Work hard to earn more money.

Apply for government assistance.
