Here is a new clue, It had Huge robots and humans fighting in some cold area for control of the part of the world that is in question...... two champions, no more wars.

I think its Hackers starring pre-teen Angelina Jolie and then unknown Johnny Lee Miller (Trevor Goodchild of Aeon Flux). Angelina Jolie's hacker name is Acid Burn and Johnny's hax name is Crash Override. The then hippie wannabe Matthew Lillard penned the term "Crash and Burn" , because of "Crash" Override and Acid "Burn".
