I just recently formed a california s-corp for my restaurant business. I am contributing $300k and issuing 1000 shares to myself. Do I have to register these shares with the state somewhere? How do I go about doing this? Which forms to I have to fill out?

Contact the lawyer who set up the S-Corp for you. It depends on the state laws where you live.
