which ones don't? Everyone sees and feels things differently...you might get a message in or from a song someone else doesn't...the same words mean more and influence more to some people than others...it depends more on the person than the song.

You are talking about backmasking: a stupid trick used by the moral minority to make a claim that rock music will rot the soul and send the listener to hell.

According to Boingboing.net: http://www.boingboing.net/2005/03/25/hits_of_backwards_ma.html
Jeffer Milner is well known for his list of backmasking songs. He probably has the best list.

According to Wikipeda: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Backward_message
"Backmasking (also incorrectly known as backward masking) is an audio technique in which sounds are recorded backwards onto a track that is meant to be played forwards. Backmasking is a deliberate process, whereas a backward message may be unintentional. Backmasking has been a source of much controversy, especially related to supposed subliminal messages in rock music."

According to About.com: http://altreligion.about.com/b/a/156027.htm
"One of the weirder aspects of the 'Satanic Panic' of the eighties was the weird obsession with 'backwards masking,' where excited evangelicals would insist that satanic messages were cleverly encoded into rock music- so cleverly, in fact, that one could only hear them by playing the records backward. "

In response the rock group Styx put some backmasking on the beginning of the B-
Side of their album Grand Illusion. It is in Latin saying, "Christ is King."

Backmasking has been done as a joke on several albums and it is probably about as Satanic as Jerry Springer. Experts have dismissed backmaksing as a foolish theory. Marilyn Manson has also done some backmasking, he is just trying to get a rise out of the masses.
