fluffernutter sandwich!
recently in the news.
its made from fluff (a marshmallow kind of spread) on one piece of toast and peanut butter on the other side.
Loved by schoolchildren and adults alike, its a classic. Fluff is made only in a plant about 10 mi away from here in Lynn, MA.
Some lawmakers tried to ban it from being served in schools, but what resulted was an unexpected free advertising campaign for the small company.

In Minnesota, we're close to Canada, tater-tot hot dish is a biggie. I don't make it myself, but it's not bad. Wild rice is big here too, especially chicken wild rice soup--YUM! Then because of so many people moving here from Scandinavian countries there's weird stuff like Lutefisk (cured with lye!) and lefse (left over potatoes rolled out with flower and fried.
I forgot to add, we are walleye lovers, the tastiest fish!
I like gravy on fries, but it's so fattening!
