Currently, my rosters start two RBs, two WRs and one RB/WR, the flex position. My feeling is that this makes the league lopsides, as the last few years we have four teams that make the playoffs with winning records, one that is maybe .500, and a bunch of teams that do very poorly. I think that by just starting two RBs and two WRs (and maybe a third WR or a WR/TE "flex" position), we will be able to make things more competitive and not have teams winning and losing by lopsided margins.

read this article on espn's page 2, about fantasy football - he gives a whole set of rules (you can disregard some - i do), but his "flex" position rule makes sense to me.

That's always the best way to go, NFL.com does it like that and we always have very competitive match ups in my league.

definately have the flex --- don't forget about injuries; then you'll have a more versatile player that can collect points in 2 ways.......good luck
