Wet the cotton buds (prefefrably saline drops on the buds). Its simple, first try it on yourself and see if you feel okay. Im sure you'll feel better if the buds were wet rather than dry. take a good look inside her/his nostril and do a quick job exactly where the boogers located. It works for me all the time.

I've found they come out best after the baby has a bath. Once you wash her face, some of the water seems to get up in there and make them softer, and you can easily get them out with a Q-Tip or your fingernail (if they're right on the edge).

Take a warm, wet washcloth, hold the back of baby's head, and gently but firmly massage the boogers out.

Saline and a nasal aspirator. If they're right near the rim then twist a Kleenex into a cork screw shape and hold the babys forehead while you dooge it out.

there is a saline drop at your drug store called, LIttle Noses, it works well and you don't have to use anything. I swear by it, and it is unexspensive also. Give it a try.

If all else fails , you sometimes have to be cruel to be kind.
Hold him firmly(not too much though) and using round ended tweezers , remove the foreign bodies from his nostrils.
