i don't think she is a poser..she acts exactly the way a little rich, idiot , with no class, humility, or conscious would.

I have to disagree with that... and I don't like Paris Hilton.
Just because they try something, like acting and singing, doesn't make them a poser.
A poser is someone that completely changes him/herself to fit in or get noticed, while Paris Hilton has always been like that.
And second, that is her voice.

Miss Hilton is trying to discover who she is. She has never had to work, has never had to struggle, has never had to lift a finger when she wanted something, has never had anyone tell her "No," has never had to sweat the rent or the light bill, et cetera. She has had everything she ever wanted or needed handed to her on a silver platter from Day One. So now she's trying to find her niche in the world. We shouldn't hate her because she's wealthy and attractive (more or less). We should wait and watch to see what she can do in the long run. She may flop or she may fly. Only time will tell...

I just have to say, there is an overabundance of Paris Hilton questions on yahoo answers. I can't log on to the celebrity section without seeing one. It's like, if you don't like her, quit talking about her! This is nothing against you. Just venting my frustration.
As for your question... maybe she is, maybe she isn't... her acting sucks, but her music has done surprisingly well on iTunes and on the radio. I guess in the end she gets the last laugh because she gets all that damn money. She's one of those people who's famous for being famous. :(
