Does your voice sound different through a speaker (i.e. phone)?

Have you ever heard yourself talk in a message or something? Especially on your phone, do you feel that you sound different or is it just me? Maybe I think I sound different but that is actually how I sound.

The distortion arises from three processes:
The means that the sound is converted to signaling tends to be more faovrable towards some frequencies than others, meaning, using a tin can, carbon membrane, or piece of plastilc will each pick up different frequencies. Since all of these can be used as speakers, it also affects the conversion from signals to sound.
The intermediate step of amplification(s) also distorts your voice.

I've heard that our own impression of our voice tends to have richer high frequencies given the transmission of vibration through our skulls when we speak.

My making a song voice is Contralto. i imagine I easily have an accentless English voice. no longer as posh because the Queen yet with none interior of sight impacts. My friends tell me I easily have a Norfolk way with some vowel sounds when I get drained or lose my mood. I did boost up in Norwich, to an Australian Dad and Scottish mom so i will communicate convincingly with both one among those accents if mandatory.

I hate my voice when I hear trough speakers, or any recording , and I feel is different but no...everybody say it sounds the same.
