I think faith is an important part of a spiritual connection with life as well as love.

Nope, plenty of people go through a fondness for their families but don't consider it "love" and not everyone falls in love in their life.

Love is great and wonderful and it's a pain in the butt and miserable. Love gives us the opportunity to experience love which might be a spiritual reason some of us came to Earth.

We definitely do need more spiritually than only love. But to change the world, I will quote the Beatles, "All you need is love." I believe to remedy the world's ills, this is true.

Peace.

I would not say we need it spiritually. I would say we need it practically. I think peoples act better when they love.

But then again this is such a difficult concept and confusing sentiment (when love is not mutual for example) that I do not think we should base the constitution of society on this.

So "all you need is love" is obviously not OK! Neither is "love your neighbor" unconditionally or "give the other cheek".

In society, you do not need to love for respect, or sympathy (do not do to others what you do not want them to do to you). And we sure need justice.

We should base our society on the "duties" of humankind instead of their rights. A right takes effect only if others recognize it, while a duty stays a duty even if it is not recognized by others.

So the United Nation should discuss what the “duties” of humankind are and then the way we see the affairs of the world would be much different. It would be clear who are acting wrongly.

Yes and I know, i need love, but the more i love, i more i feel hurts... and you're right, peace is always the most important thing. Still wonder, how to love with the least hurt... and why love always comes with uncertainty.

Exactly... Because it feeds our heart. First of all, we need to feel the influence of LOVE on our life: confidence, satisfaction, success... It is like a chain and in this chain LOVE is the starter and the others come naturally:)

Yes if you're lucky enough to find that one person who you love unconditionally everything seems to just fall into place!!!!!!
Don't be fooled though sometimes love isn't all we need at all it just depends on the type of love you have for the person.

It depends upon how you define love. It is not a passive thing. It is the spark of God, the Word, it is Spirit made Flesh. It isn't mooning in your bathrobe and sending e-Valentines to a girl in you 5th hour Lit class. It is work, it is sacrifice, it is joy, it is AWARENESS and compassion.
