And young white males try to act black? WTF is up with all of that? Is no one satisfied with their own race?

hmmmm... I'm sure many people are quite happy / satisfied with who they are.... personally I stay out of the sun... it's bad for the skin. ..this is quite a generalized statement.... ever notice how some people generalize? lol...

I dont know if it's a race issue. Most women seem to think that their natural beauty is not good enough so they try to enhance it. Plus, as the saying goes, the grass is always greener on the other side, so those with straight hair want curly and vice versa. AS for the males, well, that I cannot say, except I am sure peer pressure has a lot to do with it.

Yes.

Also, some Asian is trying to be black (get a tan, get a 'fro, dreadlocks, or braids, wear hip hop clothing, claiming themselves black), some trying to be white (imitating everything from rock culture, skater culture, calling themselves white and using racist comment on Asian people, joining White supremacist groups).

I am Chinese myself and I see that a lot on the streets of New York City, including what you mentioned.

More and more people are doing that.

In this generation, many people want to try out something new. They want to act and look like something or someone they think is "cool". Apparently, they consider other people as cooler than they are so they try to be other people.

Does it really matter? its just what they prefer. What about people who have curly hair, and want straight? or people with blond who want brown? the list goes on. I think allot of us like what we don't have. The grass is always greener on the other side.

The grass is always greener on the other side, isn't it?

Sadly there are a lot of people that cannot be happy with who they are.
