I'm not talking about big screens or automobiles, I'm talking about that little something special that you have held onto for years and just can't seem to part with.

I have an acoustic 12 string guitar, my Pop (who passed away, a few years back) was a drinker and put his foot through my guitar in one of his drunken rages.

In a moment of clarity, when he sobered up,..(which wasnt often cause most of his waken existance was one of constant inebriation) he took that guitar...to one of those places... where they make plaques, trophies, and things of the like.

He had them make a plastic covering that they glued onto the front of the guitar which was etched with my name and also a few heart felt words from him to me.

I have lots of guitars...1976 gibson Les Paul custom shop edition, 1968 Fender mustang, ect ect. But that's the one guitar..I cherish more than any of the others because of all the memories attached to it,..both good and bad...and I wouldnt have it any other way.

Kinda sappy...but...that's my most prized possession.

Either my crucifix pendant or my Santa Monica pendant. I received both in my native Portugal- the crucifix when I was a young girl, and the Santa Monica pendant when I was confirmed in the Catholic Church (Santa Monica was my confirmation saint). I've worn both necklaces every day since the day that I was given them. I hope it's okay that I have two most prized possessions!
