Only the liberals “hate” him. This is a characteristic of current liberal mentality. Carter was our worst president and I don’t think anyone really hated him.

Democrats lost the White House, the Senate, the House of Representatives and the Governorships. Obviously their “policies” are not liked so the only way they feel they can move forward is to attack the other side. If you notice, they don’t have any “solutions” but just complaints. They have been focusing on hating Bush.

Keep in mind that compared to most presidents, Bush grew up around politics from a child. He considers politics for what it is… just politics.

I don’t think he has even the slightest concern as most people that hate him has bought into lies and nothing they can “prove.” Its much like little girls in grade school that targets another girl to hate and all kinds of stories emerge as facts but when pressed no one has proof.

If just one thing the liberals claim was a “fact” and could be proven, Bush would be in jail. And we here that “one” thing about 5 times a day, every day, since he was president. There are just a lot of liars and liars breed hate.

Yes, he cares what history will think about him and his presidency. But, he ignores the public opinon polls. He puts down all the poor ratings to being in the middle of an unpopular war, and the rising price of gas. All he remembers is how high his approval rating was after 9/11. Heck, a cannine officer in New York could probably could have gotten the same approval rating.

Since he is in his second term he can't be reelected, and there is no higher office that he can hold. After he leaves office he will retire. He doesn't believe that he will be known as one of the worst presidents of all time, as I do. The only way he can be removed from office is to commit a crime and get impeached. As Watergate and the Iran-Contra scandals proved there are people who would be willing to take the blame of any crimes that he might commit so we are stuck with him.

All part of the penalty of having a president who doesn't have a clue.

He terrifies me. I haven't been scared of much in my life, but he really scares me. I do not believe in organized religion, I've always felt the bible was a book of stories, not to be taken seriously, but a guide line. If the stories are true of the Apocalypse, it is starting with George W. Bush. He will devastate and destroy this country and everything round it.

It bothers him, but he knows it's gonna happen, all presidents know that, just like all managers of businesses know that, all school teachers know that, all people with the job of making hard decisions know that. These important positions are not popularity contests, they are jobs given to them by either business owners or voters. You might experience the same thing someday.
