Most white girls do, but mostly the blond ones. This just comes from my observation of walking on the streets of New York City and my life experience.
What is the reason?
Also, I notice many of them styled their hair straight and split in the middle of the head.
Is this hair style popular now?

That is straight long blond hair.

The style would be call a mullet if it is on a man's head.

Ok i am a blond n my hair aint long!! so it aint alwayz true! & the strait hair is a popular style but split n the middle aint! the popular hair style now is bangs pushed to the side!

Actually to me, over here in Southern California, I notice more brunettes to have long, full heads of hair. I remember even my older sisters having straight, split in the middle, down to their hipbones, dark brown hair.

A mullet is short hair on top of the head and long on the back.

I guess it's just the style these days. There's never really a lot of explaination for style trends, they just sort of are. Kind of confusing.

Not for me anyways. I have long red, curly hair..lol I don't strighten it, BUT it does seem that a lot of people are doing that. As for the stright down the middle..mines off to the side..lol

This is to make them all be in the same box (as in hair do and length etc) and to stand out more so that some other blond gets blamed for their short coming...................

I notice that most white girls all have the same hairdo becuz they have no style.
