As far as I can tell, having been tested twice, IQ is just a way of quantifying a person's intellectual prowess. It doesn't exactly cover intelligence, nor does it exactly cover learned knowledge. It covers academic understanding, but doesn't say a whole lot about things like business sense, knowing what sells, knowing how to talk to people so they'll listen, being compassionate... things like that. Knowing your IQ doesn't really have any value, unless you want to brag. Or if it gets you into programs at school to give you the best education possible.
I have a rather high IQ. I am so full of talent and creativity, I have craft projects all over my house. I'm always doing something. But I have no head for business or academics. I can do it, but I abhor it.
My son has a similar IQ, and also has done well in school. He also has high-functioning autism, meaning he has basically zero concept of social skills, how to interact, how to talk to others, or why you would even want to. His creativity is restricted to a few topics he is passionate about, and anything else, he cannot fathom doing anything in any way other than the way it's always been done.
Not sure any of that has to do with IQ, but then I'm not sure your friend's lack of talent, creativity, and speaking skills are all that related to IQ either. People are all unique, and some of them are pretty odd. It takes all kinds.

IQ gives a hint about what person considers more when solving a problem. it doesnt tell us that if the person is going to use a correct methods at the right time and place. For example Military considers IQ to check the personality of the person rather than there intelligence.

One of the enigmas that still baffles the scientists is the working of the human brain. IQ tests are based on the concept of ascertaining the ability of the human brain to corelate events in an analytical way. IQ tests conducted on astute students or academics will prove that they have a higher quotient than the layman. To ascertain the ability of a human being IQ tests in this way will never give out the required result.

A person with Mensa IQ level would probably have a hard time having a intelligent conversation with me. I have a grade 12 diploma but i could not intellectually to somebody with a 160 IQ.
Nor would I want to put myself in that position. I would prefer to talk to all the regular people around me.

IQ, to me, is basically a measure of how quicky you're able learn and retain information. I think it has nothing to do with talents (or lack thereof) a person may have.

IQ is just a gauge to measure intelligent....but for someone who's good in studies, it's not necessary that he/she will be good in other area....one must be well rounded in all aspect of life like studies, sports, arts, communications, etc..

No. It's just test to see what you know of basic knowlege and problem solving.
It's really no good to anyone as a measurement even though it's used consistently.
