I majored in Zoology, which only differed by a few classes from the Biology major (in my university at least). I had a really hard time with the chemistry and physics. I am not very good at math, so these classes were a challange. O chem was actually a lot easier for me than inorganic chem. It seem almost everyone I knew had problems with physics. The labs were really fun...but the lectures were a killer! Do you have to take comparative animal physiology? Also tough...but very interesting!
Good luck.

I am currently a senior majoring in Bio at USF. The hardest course I have taken so far, which is required of bio majors, is organic chemistry. However, it may have been difficult at first, I enjoy it alot now.

I majored in biology, and still work near it. The hardest are: neurobiology, microbiology, and developmental biology (probably the hardest...look into it...it has a future)...by the way, my advise to you is to get some technical skill while majoring in biology...a technical skill can be computers, business, statistics, lab chemistry...

If you concentrate on your work nothing can be difficult. But molecular biology can be tough as many of us don't have real time access. We have to depend on books. That's the major area where difficulty can come

Histology and neurobiology are said to be the worst. They require skills way beyond memorization.
