A: Gundam Seed Destiny is newer.
2. Any good action figure model kits to recommend?
A: I personally recommend the Strike Freedom Gundam, pilot: Kira Yamato, series: Gundam Seed Destiny (the larger the scale the better!)

A: No. I don't see any problems with that. They actually made Gundam Seed more attractive to the female audience, eg. Kira, Athrun...etc.
4. What is the difference between a non-HG and a HG version of 1/144???
A: A non-HG model has several types. One, if it is an FIX Figuration, you can play with the gundam out of the box, no need to stick pieces of plastic together. Two, if it requires sticking plastic pieces, then, you are required to paint them cause it would only come in one color.
As for the 1/144 scale HG version, you have to stick the plastic pieces together and they come in about 4 colors, you are not required to re-color the gundam unless you really want to customize it.
*For newcomers in gundam modeling, I personally recommend the HG series. But if you are the clumsy/lazy type, just buy the FIX figuration.

Course it's gundam seed Destiny came out in 2004 then i think that there's a gundam seed Eternity that 's also coming out soon...the other gundam series u mentioned was way old...
