Get the phone that works....because parents feel secure when they can contact their kids at ANY time... You may get more priveleges with the phone, than without.... Thats what I told my daughter.

I don't know about RAZRs ... I haven't *heard* anything bad about them in particular (and I do work customer support for a wireless carrier) - but still, I can safely say - never never EVER buy a phone based on hype. Decide what you want in a phone, and find the one that suits you best. And if you're going to get a phone in that price range, I suggest you see if you can insure it. There's usually a small monthly fee and a slightly less small deductible, but if anything happens to the phone, it can mean the difference between paying a deductible and getting a nice shiny replacement, or having to pay full price for an entire new phone mid-contract.

i say no. Razr's are OK, but I know a lot of people that has had problems with them.
Not to mention, they're extremely thin and are very difficult to hold on to when flipping open.
Bottom line... dont go with the phone, but get the plan that bests suits your needs. The company should offer you a phone that will work for you. Besides, are you going to use all of the features that comes with the Razr? Remember, that costs extra money.

I luv the RAZR. I have never had any problems with mine. You can get any color for FREE with FREE shipping at www.wireless-itch.com
Just make sure you get insurance which covers any kind of damage that may happen to your phone. Again check out the website it's really great. I have used this website several times and very happy with it.

Not
honestly i wouldn't suggest a razr cuz it has a poor battery life and it's damn fragile
Also for your first cell you should take sumthin less hi-fi cuz u gotta get acquainted with cells
i suggest a SE k700i
it'll be a good first fone, easy 2 use
super features
cheers
