And why do I see the Quote for this as 114 on Wall St.? I thought only ETFs are traded on Wall St. So does it mean , I can buy and sell Vanguard 500 like other Stocks?

You could just go to just about any brokerage to buy that fund. But probably cheaper or nothing to just go straight to Vanguard directly. But you can always go to a discount brokerage and buy and ETF that also mirrors the S&P 500 Index if you're directly looking for that. Try SPX, it's an ETF for the S&P 500. At Scottrade, it's $7 buckaroos to buy a stock there.

I don't know what the vanguard 500 index fund is...But if it's meant to reflect the S&P 500, you can buy the ETF(Electronically Traded Funds) SPY(spyder)...It's just like buying a stock, but it tracks the S&P 500.

Go to vanguard directly. There are not "probably" cheaper than a broker. They dont charge the brokers fee.

You can open an account with Vanguard directly through their website: https://flagship2.vanguard.com/VGApp/hnw/HomepageOverview
(click on the "open an account" button).

When you open the account, if you wish, you can select features to make buying shares easier, such as automatic purchases through your checking account.

On this site you find all the details about my favourite binary trading software http://tradingsignal.toptips.org

I like it because it's very easy to use: NO complex charts… NO baffling analysis... NO complicated methods... in fact nothing to learn at all! Check the site... (the proof videos are interesting)
