I'm against Lebanon because their people allow terrorists groups to go out of control in their country. Their government does nothing to get rid of them, I hope Israel takes over southern Lebanon. All Israel wants is to be left alone. If their Arab neighbours would leave them alone, there wouldn't be any problems in the middle east.

It is just a repeat of Iraq. Bombing women and children with no chance of any success.

When the US invades Iran the whole middle east could erupt. Perhaps the US has tipped Israel off about thier intention to invade Iran and told them to create a safety buffer zone around Israel's borders.

Perhaps the US hopes Iran will be sucked in so that the US has an excuse to invade Iran.

im against wars, but sometimes arn't they a necessary evil? its tit for tat, Hezbollah launched over 1000 rockets at Israeli towns and cities, Israel lauched attacks at Hezbollah positions and at Lebanese towns. Now what would happen if Hezbollah released those Israeli Soldiers. It could help the bring about the end of the current conflict.

I support Israel's ability to defend herself. War may not be pretty, but sometimes, it's necessary.

Hippies never saved the world. Hippies never achieved peace. Hippies have accomplished nothing. War, however, has accomplished many positive things. You cannot have peace until a decisive victory is achieved through war.

I'm against war. It's messy and tragic and too many innocent people end up dying.

I'm supportive of those who need to fight in self-defense. It's often the only way to prevent even more innocent people from dying.

I think Israel wanted to send a clear message to the Lebanese populace that if Hezbollah continues their crap, then they (the civilian populace), are going to pay a steep price. It's probably the best way to cost Hezbollah long-term support.

Bush tried the same thing in Iraq, but botched it so badly, that I think he had the exact opposite effect of what he intended.

I really don't care anymore..... War will always continue and it's hard to convince people that that is NOT the answer.

War is not at all the solution but people will always try to kill to get their way unfortunately when both sides are being sooooo stubborn. Pretty sad.....
