well if u look back the REPUBLICAN party was formed in 1856, and the major platform was to abolish slavery and give blacks civil rights....well in 1860 when LINCOLN won the Presidency the south left the union and formed the confederacy because the REPUBLICANS were gonna abolish slavery and if not abolish it then at least confide it to the south....which is another issue because at the time westward expansion was taking place and the issue of whether these new territories (later states) were gonna be "FREE" or "SLAVE" well because of the NORTH triumph during da CIVIL WAR slavery was ultimately abolished becasue of the REPUBLICANS.....that is why after the CIVIL WAR many southerners became DEMOCRATES becasue they hated the REPUBLICANS for taking away thier slaves.....isnt ironic that now many AFRICAN-Americans are Democate and hate the Republican Party.....that is LIBERAL propaganda at its finest......DENY IGNORANCE.....

In a perfect world, we would all have the same rights. Take a look around you. What do you think the answer is? As far as we've come as a society, it is STILL a white man's world. As far as Democrats or Republicans, money is power and Republicans represent money.

WTF are you talking about? This is America, everybody has the same rights-with the exception of gays who aren't allowed to get married in most places and may have trouble adopting children. Democrats don't have more rights, we just value them more.

Everyone theoretically has the same rights.

However, some people value civil liberties more than others.
