does anybody have any idea when myspace is going to be back online, becuase i am starting to get worried, i heard from my friend who is really smart with this stuff that somebody hacked into their computers and got all the passwords! HELP!

To let all of you know, I just posted this to see how many hits i would get, seems myspace is a popular thing tonight. To anybody taht knows a thing or two about computers I used a program called "neotrace" to trace myspace's IP address finding out it was in LA. I looked up the power outages in LA today at CNN.com. Its simply a power outage caused by one man clipping the wrong wire and causing multiple systems to overload and many power plants to shut down. Everything should be back online within a day or two...

We have several my space addicts in the household. Everyone here is jonesing. I'm the only exception. though I do suffer the same my space addiction, I have an addiction that is just as time consuming to Yahoo Q&A. In fact Yahoo has really helped me wean myself away from myspace....that and I had the opportunity to check myspace before it went down today.
Hopefully it wont be down long, My teens are really whining!

Probably back online tomorrow morning. Tom posted a message stating that there was a power outage. It's probably taking longer than originally thought to restore everything and they may have to make a few repairs to other areas.

Actually, it said on their main page a while ago that there was a power outage at their data center. So I wouldn't be worried.

hmm.. i don't know about that. I do know that myspace has been off and on all week due to changes they are making. I don't think there is anything to worry about. isn't myspace addicting though? =/
