Why most people tell us that multi level marketing is not good.

People are scared off because they have heard of someone that was in it and never was successfull and declared it a scam.

The thing is that most of the people that call them scams have never actually looked into it. They are just relaying what they have heard. The irony in this is that they are doing exactly what Network marketing is.

They are spreading information my word of mouth. That is exactly what NWM is

I feel sorry for those that look at an opportunity and guage what they can do with the failure of someone else. Just because they failed does not mean you will.

Here is a little comparison I like to use.

When you place a bag of pop corn in the microwave and hit the start button the bag does not instantly pop. But gradually after time there is a "pop" and then another and then another. Soon you got the whole bag popping until its done.

What did the microwave do different to make the pop corn start popping? Nothing! All it did is supply a steady and consistent amount of power to the corn and it eventually started to see results.

People expect MLM business to pop the bag of pop corn as soon as its placed in the microwave and thats just not how it works. You have to be consistant and your business will grow.

Unfortunately there are many that place the bag in the microwave and expect the bag to instantly pop and when it doesn't do anything after 30 seconds they throw the microwave away claiming its broke. Little did they know that if they would have just waited a little while and kept the effort they would have seen results.

People quit MLM before they see results and then label it a scam because they failed, not because the company was an actual scam.

Many of the MLM are a bit on the fraudulent side of business activity.

Some companies have legitimate MLM, more like MLM is integral to the company's selling of its product/service.

Most MLM I've seen however are not the kind that is focused on selling, but on recruiting. So you basically pay to become a salesman, and most of your income is going to come from what others down the line pay just to get in. If you're able to convince others to pay just to get in, great, you get your money back, and you get more than that if you can convince them. If not, then you can say goodbye to your money.

Use your head if you're planning to join one. Do you honestly, seriously believe your products will really sell? Or are you going to focus on just recruiting more people because that is how you're going to make your money? If you answer yes to the second option, I'm not going to join your MLM. If I think your product will sell hot on the market however(and specially if I'll regularly buy the product myself), I might reconsider.

And if you're from the Philippines, I can give you one excellent example of good MLM (the marketing of AVON products is the local classic example of what an MLM really is), half a dozen good ones, and probably hundreds of fraudulent ones.

A lack of understanding or coming up against pure scams. A real MLM that uses correct principals of word-of-mouth advertising and getting paid for it, is the only way most people will ever have their own business.

They probably tried it and did not realize that they would have to put a little effort into it. Plus, people around them are so negative, that they just pick that up. And they also have a alck of knowledge. It has obviously been very successful because it has been around a long time.
