how to make it in hollywood?

what should i do to break into hollywood as an actor? pretty general but i would appreiciate any suggestions.

Start acting in local theater to gain expreince and get a talant agent. Or do what a lot of actors have done, become a waitress and go to auditions.

1) You have to want to be an actor more than you want friends, a lover, a car, or anything else.
2) You have to be willing to have 1,000 people tell you "no," and feel more determined to succeed afterward.
3) You have to be at the right place at the right time - and no, not drinking a soda at a drugstore, you have to audition - a lot - study - a lot - network - a lot.

Remember that most of the people who wait tables, park cars, sleep in their cars, etc. are actors of all ranges of talent still looking for their big break.

So don't do it, unless you can't help it.
